At Manor Park School we have a fantastic 2 Year Old Provision attached to our Nursery.

Paid sessions: Children are eligible for a paid 2 year old place from after their 2nd birthday subject to availabiliy. The cost is £12 per 3 hour session with the possibility of staying for lunch at a cost of £3 although a packed lunch must be provided.

Free entitlement: Some families may be eligible for a free entitlement of up to 15 hours from the term after their 2nd birthday subject to availability.

At Manor Park  the children can start in the Nursery Class the term after their 3rd Birthday.  We offer flexible nursery sessions so that parents now have more options on when their child attends.

All 3 and 4 year old children are entitled to 5 free nursery sessions (15 hours) per week.

For those not eligible and still wish your child to attend extra sessions, or the 5 sessions over a few days then this is now available at an additional cost of £12 per session. The lunch break at a cost of £3 will be supervised by school staff, although a packed lunch must be provided.

Full Day -  8:45 to 3:30

Morning Session - 8:45 to 11:45

Afternoon Session - 12:30 to 3:30

The Nursery works closely with the Reception classes and all children will be working towards the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum.  The children will be continuously developing their skills in the 7 different areas of learning.  These areas are divided into:

September 2019

This half term we are helping more new friends to settle into nursery.

 

We will also be exploring wonderful books such as Beegu, The Tiger Who Came to Tea and The Naughty Bus – books which naturally lend themselves to looking at ‘Ourselves’.  In addition to this the children will have regular phonics sessions, singing and dancing every day, visits to the Spinney Woods and PE in the hall every week.  As the seasons change we will be exploring ‘The World Around Us’ by learning all about Autumn and what happens during this season.
