At Manor Park we formally monitor and track pupil progress each term. We use both formative, (ongoing day to day ) assessment and summative, (testing) to inform where the children are performing in relation to National Key Performance Indicators KPI's. We assess whether the children are 'Emerging', 'Expected' or 'Exceeding' in relation to their age related expectations.
This information is then analysed by the class teachers and Senior Leadership team to ensure that the school is maximising the potential of the children and using the school resources to their optimum.
We have taken time to develop our own documents that link directly to the children's Core Skill documents, (writing and maths). This enables the children to be involved in their assessment and target setting moving forward. You can find the Children's Core Skill targets under the Curriculum tab on each year group tab.
